Packaging

Please let us know if any packaging fails to get product to you safely.  There will be a seed label on the outside of each box as well as a seed label on each bag in each box.


To open a stitch bag, cut the excess thread off near the bag on the correct side (usually on the left) and try to undo a few threads and then pull the threads from the front and back of the bag to unravel all of the stitching.  If it isn’t unraveling try the other side.  This can take a little trial and error to unravel these but it’s the only way to go to open a stitched bag once you get the hang of it.

 

Shipping Estimates

Unless clearly marked with an arrival estimate all items ordered before 2:00PM should be assumed to be in stock and ready to ship same day (unless pre-orders are backlogged and new stock arrives).  If possible, orders placed over the weekend will ship on the next shipping day (Monday in most cases).

See photos for a map of estimated lead times to your location and keep in mind that the day it ships doesn’t count as a shipping day.


Nitrogen Schedule Lead Time (digital product)

If nitrogen audits are being offered, please allow approximately 24 hours after property context is provided to SEED-BOSS via text or email for nitrogen schedules.

 

Pre-orders (out of stock items)

Out of stock items should show an arrival estimate on the primary photo for the item.  These date approximations have moderate confidence but are rarely certain.

If any pre-ordered product won’t arrive in time feel free to contact us for a full refund or to request an in  stock substitution any time prior to shipment.  When substitutions are made on pre-orders to fill a void in availability a 10% substitution discount will almost always be refunded to the customer.  We can easily make changes to orders in our system..

Pre-orders will generally be shipped in the order received but some climates or orders may be prioritized at the owner’s digression to try to serve our customer base as well as possible.  Pre-order quantities can cause shipping backlogs of several days… if you need seed quicker than the default shipping order simply contact us.

Bulk Shipments

Allow approximately 2-3 weeks for processing and transit time for half-pallet single cultivar or full pallet single cultivar orders.

Allow approximately 3-4 weeks (often less but occasionally more) for blends to allow time for blending, processing and transit time.

Blends and custom blends may not be cancelable once the blending process has been initiated for bulk orders.
